<p><strong>About the excursion:</strong></p>
<p>The Nezu Shrine is a must visit during spring time. A home to 3,000 azalea plants with over a 100 varieties, the shrine is studded with colorful flowers. </p>
<p>The shrine is also very well known for its beautiful red torii gate tunnel, similar to Kyoto’s Fushimi Inari Shrine.</p>

<p><strong>Description: </strong>You will be dressed in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yukata">yukatas</a>, provided by KSGG. Volunteers will explain the concept and the basic etiquette of enjoying a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_tea_ceremony"> Japanese Tea Ceremony</a>. After taking photos, you will dress back into your clothes and enjoy lunch in the main farmhouse while listening to the history and unique attributes of the farmhouse. </p>
<p><strong>Fee:</strong> 1,500 yen. The fee covers the private use of the historic tea house.</p>
<p><strong>What to Wear</strong><strong>: </strong><strong> </strong></p>

<li aria-level="1">Hair up in a bun, or bring a clip so you can put it up yourself </li>
<li aria-level="1">V-neck short-sleeve T-shirt and short spats or knee-length leggings. </li>

<li aria-level="1">A pair of white socks or <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabi">tabi</a>, and sandals, if you have them.</li>

<li aria-level="1">Since you will be using authentic and very precious tea cups, kindly remove all rings, bracelets and wristwatches before the tea ceremony so that you do not accidently scratch or damage these special tea cups.</li>
