Saint Maur Cougars MS Boys’ Baseball team returned to action on Thursday for the first time in 2 seasons where they captured a comfortable victory against their local rival YIS Dragons. With the majority of the players playing in their first baseball game, Cougars still dominated from the very beginning.
In what could be their last game of the season, the High School Cougar Girl’s Football team recorded their first win of the season. Previous games had seen the girls being able to compete with much stronger teams, but fail to get a win.
The Cougars MS girls’ basketball teams had games again this past Thursday, April 22nd, against Yokohama International School. Both A and B teams show much improvement from last week; scoring nearly double the points they had scored in any previous game this season. Despite being overmatched by older, taller and more experienced players, our girls held their own and made both games competitive.

On Friday, April 16th, the IGCSE Grade 9 Music students performed a stunning recital of classical and jazz solos and duets in the auditorium to an audience of selected High School and Elementary School students.
What do Bingo and Chemistry have in common? We all know that they are both fun(!) so on Friday 16th April three excited elementary school students visited the Chemistry Laboratory in the Science Centre to claim their prize for winning the PSG bingo competition.
Last week, the Middle School girls’ basketball teams kicked off their season with two games in three days. The first games were on Thursday evening against the Dragons from YIS. Both A and B teams then travelled to CAJ to take on the Knights.
Last Saturday, the boys High School Soccer Team played against the YIS Dragons at YCAC on a very beautiful spring day. The first half of the game was challenging as the Cougars fell behind to two early goals, however they were able to gain a foothold in the game as striker Chengtai pulled a goal back.
The Kanto Plain Student Council (KPSC) comprises all executive council members of the Kanto Plains Association of Secondary Schools (KPASS). This year, the KPSC is using the council as a platform for communicating with other schools to improve our individual communities.
After two years of hiatus due to the Coronavirus, the Cougars Boys Football team finally got back onto the field. Having only four players from Saint Maur’s 2019 team that finished second in the AISA tournament, this young squad had a lot to prove.
After hearing about the hardships that the homeless people in our neighbourhoods are facing under the harsh conditions of the cold season, the Middle School Student Council decided to help out.
